Halloween in Phoenix is one of the few nights of the year when we really get to enjoy strolling around in the evening, namely because we get a little bit of respite from Phoenix’s legendary heat during the Winter and Fall months. Safety is of course a concern, so make sure that you keep these tips in mind this October.
Reflective Clothing
All three of your kids want to go as ninjas for Halloween? Talk them into some shiny accessories, at least. White and other light colored costumes can help your kids to be more visible crossing streets in the dark, and failing that, reflective tape can make a difference.
Candy Inspection
The whole poison candy thing is an urban legend, but check your kids’ candy to make sure that none of it is expired or allergenic.
Drive from Neighborhood to Neighborhood
Some streets are safer than others. Drive to the well-lit, well-populated neighborhoods.
You’ll also want to make sure that you’re covered in case someone eggs your car, of course! If you’re in Phoenix, make sure that your auto insurance is up to date and check in at Aimpro if you have any questions.
